UK SUPER LEAGUE COACH OF THE YEAR.

NICKNAME: HEDLEY

Founder of the Change Room, Matt is passionate about giving participants confidence, hope and a fresh start.

 

He draws on his 28-year NRL career as a coach and player to motivate people into finding a new lease on life. 

Matt developed The Change Room after overcoming a serious condition doctors said he'd be stuck with for the rest of his life. After a year of suffering, he turned to cutting-edge techniques his mates used to beat their injuries and illnesses.

 

Six weeks later he was cured. His doctors were stunned. Now he spends his days helping others recover and repair. 

DR ALI WALKER

Ali's our academic mentor. 

 

With a PHD in human behaviour and Masters' Degrees in criminal law and international relations, she's the expert on behaviour, social connection and relationships. 

 

Ali's developed a special personality assessment tool, which helps our participants develop stronger communication skills. She's also our expert on COVID-19, and we're lucky to have access to her astounding insights on connection, leadership, and group dynamics.

Brett is a high-performance coach to Olympic level track and field athletes.

 

His unique take on fitness and mental agility helped him overcome a devastating personal tragedy in 2015, which threw his world into darkness. 

Robbo's podcasts on mental strength training are bestselling chart toppers on iTunes. To us, he's the master of showing people how to tap into their inner excellence.

NRL AMBASSADOR. 

BULLDOGS MENTOR.

NICKNAME: BOBCAT

Andrew captained the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs to their 2004 Grand Final win and represented Australian internationally 11 times. 

As the current Player Welfare Office for the NRL, he's focused on managing the health and wellbeing of their star players. So it makes sense we've drafted him to help mentor our participants. 

Andrew's an expert in career transitioning and goal-setting, using his own examples of life-after-sport to motivate. 

PAUL HARRAGON

NEWCASTLE KNIGHTS CAPTAIN.

"FOOTY SHOW" PRESENTER.

NICKNAME: THE CHIEF

Paul captained the Knights to an ARL Premiership win in 1997 and represented Australia on an international level.

 

After ten years in the game he transitioned to a role on the beloved program The Footy Show, and topped the pop charts with a Spandau Ballet parody, "That's Gold".

A successful commentator and brand ambassador, Paul supports our participants with tips and tricks in self-belief, confidence and knowing one's value.

2019 PARATRIATHLON PERFORMER OF THE YEAR. 

NICKNAME: BEVVO

Nic became paralysed from the waist down at age 17, after contracting a rare neurological condition. 

Since then, he has risen to the top of his field in paratriathlon - swimming, recumbent handcycling and wheelchair racing. 

 

A Paralympic champion and gold medallist, Nic shares powerful messages around starting new chapters and finding inspiration, even when your tank is empty.

As a professional athlete, Mini suffered serious spinal injuries on the field. He was told by doctors he'd never play again. 

Determined to find a solution and extend his playing career, Mini developed ground-breaking nutrition and exercise techniques to heal himself. He played a further 300 games for the NRL, taking his team to Premiership victory in 2013.

 

Mini now shares his incredible philosophies with participants, giving them new tools to accelerate their own recovery.

Nam's breathing secrets turn athletes into world champions, and executives into business leaders. 

A former martial artist and expert free diver who can hold his breath for 7 minutes, Nam is one of the world's most in-demand performance coaches.  

 

He's turned his scientific research in physical intelligence into practical information, showing participants how to introduce peace and focus into everyday life.

BRAIN CANCER SURVIVOR.

Two-time NRL Premiership winner and brain cancer survivor Mark is a force to be reckoned with.

He founded the Mark Hughes Foundation while undergoing chemotherapy, and has since raised more than ten million dollars for brain cancer research. 

Mark encourages and inspires participants, showing them there's life after near-death. 

ALLAN SPARKES

CROSS OF VALOUR RECIPIENT.

BESTSELLING AUTHOR. NICKNAME: FROG

Allan is a bonafide hero.

 

He spent more than 20 years with the NSW Police, receiving numerous awards for his bravery, including Australia's highest honour, The Cross of Valour.

Alan's also an ambassador for mental health and community organisations, drawing on his experience in the frontline and his own personal struggles, to help people triumph over adversity.
